Mannie of Cool 96.9FM Launches His Autobiography "WHAT A LIFE?"

Award-winning Radio personality chronicles path to success in new book, Author, Nigerian broadcaster, Emmanuel Essien announces release of Autobiography WHAT A LIFE Lagos-Nigeria, Published by Authour house UK, tells the story of author and Veteran broadcaster Emmanuel Essien, also known as Mannie d’Maestro, on his path to success, spanning a career that took him from singing to prominent Nigeria radio personality. Essien also shares his journey pursuing a music career, chronicling the business opportunities that lead him to radio.

Essien hopes his experience will inspire readers to maintain focus and perseverance in chasing their dreams. He encourages others to keep their “faith and the craving to be adventurous in anything they want to achieve out of life”.

You may be in New York City working as an engineer for a multinational, but you are a born singer, right? You’re a doctor on call in downtown LA, but you were born to be a lawyer, right? Or you’re a reporter for a big newspaper company in London but you are a natural race driver – a business consultant for an oil firm in Dubai, nut what you really are is a motivational speaker – a diplomat in China but a natural actor or maybe in the Syrian military, when you really are a pastor. You just might be the saddest teacher somewhere in Kenya but you know that you do what you do because you have to, not because you want to. There’s a big difference.
