WHEN YOU MARRY YOUR ENEMY BY SLEEKMODUPE.

It’s always very confusing when a man or woman you had high expectations for displays narcissist and sociopathic behaviors especially when your sub-consciousness has already accepted him or her - that’s a big blow to the brain by all standards and can damage the heart. It’s accurate to say that an amount of human Beings are suffering from emotional trauma. Who is an enemy? Fela’s Track “Water No Get Enemy” which is one of my greatest tracks of all time, any time I hear the song I dance and laugh hard, he was so right. An enemy can be defined as an individual who wants you dead, defeated, wishes you evil all the days of your life, your enemy doesn’t want to hear good news concerning any positive progress on any aspect of your life.

So why then do men and women end up marrying their enemies without even knowing it? Well people pretend a lot and it’s our job to investigate whom we are dealing with at least we then ask ourselves is this what we want? We either live with it or move on to a better person. It’s so disturbing to hear of a man pouring acid on his pretty girlfriend because he doesn’t want any other man to look at her. What kind of a woman cuts  the private part of her man because he was caught in bed with the house girl - so much rage and shock. I can imagine but that wasn’t the solution. Live it for karma and karma is real and would always befall the wicked.

I guess there is a thin line between love and hate. Nowadays people marry for funny reasons. I don’t think there is love anymore. We all have selfish needs. The recession - the economy is very harsh and poverty is real so when you marry a demon, how will you know when your reasons for marriage are farfetched.

I hear gory story of love gone sour, infidelity, jealousy, insurance policy drama, hatred and then I ask myself what the basics for marriage is? But on a happier note we still hear of couples dying together and holding hands and never letting go. A man marrying a woman 10 years his senior and the marriage is very much solid. In Africa, marriage is overrated and please if you want to get married and remain happy you have to get the basics right. Before we embark on such a journey we can’t wake up in the night and hate the figure next to you for you to want them dead. How can that be! You are supposed to be in love with this person. And you then wish them dead. Your spouse is supposed to make every day you wake up on planet earth worth living and the kids you have, a blessing to this generation.

It’s advisable to really look before you leap, its far better than turning into a sociopath that is a sure pathway to destruction. Choose happiness, peace and joy instead.
