Sammie slumped and died on Friday morning. His death comes months after he was involved in an adultery scandal which caused a lot of reactions from Nigerians and christians, judging from the fact he was a Gospel singer who preached the gospel through songs.
The ‘Wellu Wellu’ Gospel Star encouraged Nigerians on his Instagram page, to pray for him.
He admitted to cheating on his wife when he travelled to the US in late 2021.
The 51-year-old also suspended himself from all ministry work until full restoration as he sought forgiveness from God.
We were hoping to seeing him fully back and in full hear in proclaiming the gospel in new powerful songs, GOD knows best, may his great soul rest in peace.
