Sitting in my living room, trying to justify my life experiences!
This is an intense feeling of "I wish that I knew what I know now, when I was younger."
When we were younger, we played with sands in our quarters as military officers' kids, not knowing the intricacies of the outside world.
We were basketing in the sheltering of our youth, not knowing that the slicing knife awaits us to the harsh realities of life.
How would she know that in 15 years, she would be termed a divorcee, to be unmarried in his 40s?
Adulthood is a real scam! It makes us believe as kids there is a happy ending without a plan.
When we were kids, we thought all we had to do is work hard and we would become rich automatically.
I laugh in Spanish😂... We are met with an unfriendly competition, rage, jealousy, hatred, wickedness.
We see a little kindness, once in a while in faces we might never see again. Adulthood never prepared us for this battle. Well, we are in it and determined to end well.
